Druk Amitabha is a medical facility in Nepal operated by nuns and volunteers and this facility is dedicated to serve the needs of people in the region. This facility is called Druk Amitabha Mountain where approximately 300 nuns and volunteers reside and also practice their religious as well as medical activities. The activities of these nuns and volunteers start at 3 o’clock in the morning and ends at about 11 in the evening. The youngest of these nuns and volunteers is as young as 9 years old and the oldest at 60 years old. These people come from the remote places in Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, and other surrounding places. This facility is effectively administered by the nuns and volunteers in the place.

The connection of this nunnery and medical facility to Tan Whai Oon is that the wanted person is believed to be in a monastery in Katmandu, Nepal. Although it is rumored and believed that Tan is in a monastery called Gyalwang Drukpa, the fact that Druk Amitabha is also a monastery and nunnery, there is also a possibility that probably he is here. He is wanted in Malaysia because of the fund scam he is believed to be involved in and also since he formerly headed the now defunct fund management company SJAM, the company involved in this fund scam.

Investors in the now defunct SJAM fund management company wishes that Tan is found so that he can face his accusers and also with the wishes that they can get back their individual investments made. Although this may also be hard to expect because if ever Tan is found it will also be hard to get him back. Extradition proceedings have to be started but this will also be hard to do and may take a long time.

If you happen to be in the area and have spotted Tan Whai Oon, do not hesitate to inform us at email below so we can verify it right away. Your help is very much needed so don’t waste time.
